Ghost Hunters Is Shipping A Cast Member Off The Show

Tonight’s all new Ghost Hunters, airing on Syfy Channel January 29, 2014 at 9:00 pm eastern time will be featuring an investigation of three Naval Ships at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park in Buffalo, New York.

Filmed last fall, the TAPS Team will be searching for claims of the paranormal on the USS Little Rock, USS The Sullivans and USS Croaker.

An interview with the network publicist told GhostHuntersFans.com about the episode: “The Buffalo Naval and Military Park has called upon TAPS to investigate three vessels that all saw gunfire and bloodshed during their time of service. The ships they will investigate are a cruiser named USS Little Rock (the largest), a destroyer named USS The Sullivans, and a submarine named USS Croaker (the smallest).  USS Little Rock has reported deaths on it. Also, during the 1967 Six-Day War, the cruiser provided assistance during the attack on the USS Liberty, in which servicemen were burnt and injured. USS The Sullivans assisted in a rescue of USS Bunker Hill, pulling 100 sailors out of the water, many of whom died on board. The ship was christened in honor of the Sullivan family, who in 1942 lost five sons aboard the USS Juneau, when it was destroyed during the Battle of Guadalcanal. The USS Croaker avenged the Sullivan brothers’ death, sinking the Japanese ship responsible for the destruction of the USS Juneau. Our client, John has asked for TAPS to help determine if any of the sailors who sacrificed their lives and served the United States may still be on board these vessels.”

The network representative also added “The most ‘active’ or haunted areas of the Little Rock are the Officers’ Mess Hall, the Korean War Exhibit and the ship’s missile launching compartment,” Crocitto told her at the time. “On the USS The Sullivans, the paranormal phenomena is more spread out, and at times seems to follow groups and participants around while aboard. Even the Croaker submarine has had reports of ghostly scenarios, especially in the area where the sailors would bunk for the night.”

Besides the investigation, the big story tonight will be, WHO is getting axed from the show, and WHY? Following the rash of Syfy Channel show cancellations, this almost seems to be no surprise. Voice your opinion below, we would love to hear from you.

    1. On the contrary, too bad it was not one of the regulars … Adam Berry.
I’m sorry but in more ways than one he just does not fit the program and I wish he would go elsewhere. I know many other people who feel the same way.

  1. I WISH I COULD SEE MORE OF THE SHOW. IT SEEMS LIKE IN 5 SHOWS THE SEASON IS OVER.NOT EVEN REPEATS. I HOPE NONE OF THE REGULARS ARE GONE. I DID NOT SEE THE END OF THE SHIP EPISODE. ADAM BERRY DOSE BELONG ON THE SHOW AS HE SEES THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY. I HAVE WATCHED THE SHOW FROM THE BEGINNING AND MISS IT WHEN IT IS NOT ON. THE SIFI CHANNEL SHOULD TAKE OFF THE WRESTLE SHOW AS THAT IS NOT “SIFI”. JUST BOLOGNA.
MISS YOU ALL WHEN THE SHOW IS NOT ON.
WHAT DO THE CAST THINK OF OTHER PARANORMAL SHOWS?

    1. I am so glad Ghost Hunters is coming back. I hope the rumors of Adam and Amy leaving the show are just rumors
I love Adam and Amy and Steve and Jason and Britt and KJ and Tango. Even Michelle was beginning to grow on me. I watch a lot of paranormal shows and a lot of them are starting to use Amy’s flashlight set up. I love when they have Josh Gates on the show.

I’M sorry for whatever Brian is going through, but he did nothing for the show except screw up and whine all the time. I would not like to see him back on the show.

I really liked Ghost Mine, too. I wish they would bring them back. And I hope they can find a show for Josh Gates that will last. I liked Destination Truth and I like his new show, but I have a feeling that’s been cancelled already.

Thank you Syfy for bringing Ghost Hunters back. Don’t wait so long next season.

      1. I just wanted to say that your post has pretty much been my exact thoughts for awhile now. Good to know that others feel the same way.

  2. I’m so sorry to say this but ghost hunters is not nearly the show it used to be. What happened guys? Why aren’t you investigating people’s homes and helping them out as you use to? The show has gone downhill. I don’t like it. I was a huge fan and so were many people I know. Most have stopped watching your show. You need to go back to the basics. It was such a great show and viewers felt like it was a small community watching it. Now, it seems that you accept any Little creek, noise or sound and use that as evidence. You guys never used to do that. I can’t explain how much you never used to do that. I don’t know what’s happened with you guys but I think you went Hollywood. I’m actually surprised that you guys beat ghost mine. Ghost mine was more interesting and more scientific like you guys used to be. You need to change. You have a lot of competition out there and I would hate to see you canceled. Please go back to the way you used to do it where you used to help families and you used to really do more scientific experiments. The show the way it is now really sucks. Sorry.

  3. Cam, Ghost Hunters no longer do “people’s homes” because the show, like many others, has had to change its format in order to remain fresh. Why do you suppose the GH live events started having WWE wrestlers? And the few celebrity guest investigators or actors that popped up here and there (Eddie McClintock, Meat Loaf, Real Housewives). Tie-ins to other shows. The locations are getting more “exotic” on purpose to maintain interest. There is more emphasis and B-footage put towards the background and “setup” of the locale rather than the investigation or findings. The term “demon” never crops up. There is little personal interaction between the cast, and never any drama, dissention or disagreements. Equipment or terms are never explained. Even Steve doesn’t get to complain about bugs, heights, or flying. The show has been sanitized and follows a predictable formula now for its layout. GH’s days are numbered now, likely to be given another fresh twist or two before it will get disco’d. I expect to start seeing more celebs, celeb home investigations appearing soon, because there isn’t much left after that. In a way, GHI was a mistake in that it covered a big opportunity in the future programming of GH: non-US locations.

  4. Syfy seems to need someone insightful to judge tv shows….numbers alone won’t do it…I won’t watch a ragged channel like SyFy ..who appears clueless to its audience needs…

  5. To bad it is not Amy. She is like Kris Williams. She hears, get touched, and sees everything. She is a big fake. Why can they not see thru her.

  6. I do not like all the flash light and talking Amy does. We don’t have her to repeat every thing we just saw. I like Adam but Amy and her way has rubbed off on him. They do need their own show. I no Bryan screwed up alot but he brought alot to the show. He has
had a hard time recently help the guy out. He loved you guys and the show and that’s more than I can say for the liers you have now. I really Missouri guys and I miss Tango and Steve working together they do bring a laugh to the show. Be honest and past th for goodness forward. Love to all the old crew!!

  7. The show is such a fake and the only reason I watch it is because there’s nothing else on, but when something good is on believe me I won’t watch this bullsh-t of a show. I might of given it some credit if they have regular people along to prove the show has credit to it. Strange only one person carries a flir and hardly catches anything while others seem to experience so called shadows, being touched, etc….. I hope they take this fake show off the air………
